Happy new year everyone! It was a beautiful first day of 2017 yesterday and I spent the day relaxing at home with family. There was a huge snowfall the night before and we woke up to a winter wonderland. Freshly fallen snow is such a beautiful sight!

With the below 0°C temperature we’ve been having, a warm jacket is a must. Long bubble jackets appear to be a returning trend. Not only stylish, they are lightweight and very cozy. The one I’m wearing was purchased from Simons. This Pajar jacket known as the Marilyn style, claims to provide sufficient warmth in temperatures as low as -10°C.

Cheers to the start of a new year my friends! We have 364 days ahead of us. Let us always make the most of every moment, learn from every mistake, and challenge ourselves in every situation.

  1. Great look! I love bubble jackets. I have one and although we don’t get a lot of snow in Oklahoma, it does get super windy. Bubble jackets seem to be one of the few things that can keep the wind from cutting through. Happy New Year!

  2. I love seeing snow in Vancouver! I went to college there and snow was so rare…it’s lovely to see it when it happens 🙂 You’re so right about having a good jacket. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos! Cheers, Mary Jane

  3. Great photos! I need a sturdier jacket than I have – we are heading into the cold months here in the Pacific Northwest. No snow – just cold.

  4. Beautiful photos. I don’t mind pictures of snow but I can do without having to deal with it! Guess I’m finally an adult!
